The Weston Family Foundation’s generous and long-standing commitment to ALUS has played a critical role in growing ALUS Canada into a national organization, uniting dozens of communities across six provinces. Since 2016, the foundation has granted ALUS more than $10M. In addition, the Foundation supports ALUS Canada’s Innovation Awards, particularly its biennial Weston Family Research Innovation Award, recognizing researchers or ALUS Canada partners for excellence and innovation in scientific research on ecosystem services produced on farmland.
