Our Values

Environmental activity is economic activity

Nature has a value as a public good and those who produce it should be compensated for the value they create.

Long-term prosperity over short-term profit

Sustainable, long-term economic prosperity requires a healthy environment and healthy people.

Collaboration over competition

Biodiversity loss and climate change are global issues. We need to work together to maximize and aggregate positive outcomes.

Community delivery and autonomy

We value community knowledge and believe communities are best suited to identifying solutions to local environmental problems.

Local solutions to global problems

We can maximize our global impact by implementing nature-based climate solutions at the local level.

Slow and steady wins the race

We stay in the lead by taking the time to make sure our decisions are scientifically sound and align with our mission.
