Katherine Balpataky joins ALUS Canada

TILLSONBURG, October 4, 2018—ALUS Canada is proud to announce the hiring of Katherine Balpataky as Director of Corporate Partnerships and Business Development

“I’m excited to welcome Katherine to the team,” said CEO Bryan Gilvesy. “As our Director of Corporate Partnerships and Business Development, she will work closely with Canada’s business leaders to cultivate high-impact partnerships for our corporate sponsorship program, the New Acre™ Project.”

Prior to joining ALUS Canada, Balpataky led a national multimedia trade publication, Water Canada, and held leadership roles at Canadian Water Network, Grand River Conservation Authority and the former National Roundtable on the Environment and Economy.

She holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies from York University, a Bachelor of Journalism from Ryerson University, and a certificate in Water Management and Wetland Restoration from the University of Guelph.

“Katherine will help a number of caring Canadian corporations deliver brand value while producing cleaner air, cleaner water, new wildlife habitats and increased climate resiliency through our program,” added Gilvesy.
