Thanks to $100,000 in funding from Environment Canada the Little Saskatchewan River Conservation District will be re-launching an ALUS project in their watershed. The funding is part of an effort by the federal government to reduce the amount of phosphorus and nitrogen entering Lake Winnipeg and will be matched by a number of groups including The W. Garfield Weston Foundation, Delta Waterfowl, the Manitoba Habitat Heritage Corporation, the Little Saskatchewan River Conservation District and local agricultural producers.
