The ALUS Saskatchewan Assiniboine Project (ASAP) was created in 2015. In its very first year of operation, ASAP signed up eight producers representing a total of 285 acres, and established a waiting list for potential future projects.

As it expands, ASAP aims to utilize the ALUS model to preserve, protect and enhance natural habitat in the Assiniboine watershed.

ASAP is supported by the the Saskatchewan Farm Stewardship Association (SaskFSA), an organization dedicated to ensuring that farmers can optimize efficiency in an environmentally acceptable and sustainable manner, and the Assiniboine Watershed Stewardship Association (AWSA), an independent, non-profit organization that is dedicated to protecting and enhancing source water in the Assiniboine River Watershed.
